Daily Creativity: Jewelry!
Yesterday I made some jewelry as my creative project. These are plastic spikes so they are my new favorite thing. In my youth I wore a lot of spikes, every now and then I use them to accent an outfit, but these are plastic so they will cause less damage and aren’t cold. There are three bracelets, two with big spikes and one with small spikes. 3/29/2015

I couldn’t resist the pun :) Yesterday I did a watercolor where I was trying to get a galaxy look to it, it was a lot of color washes and wet washes and working to see if I could get it just right. I had used a white crayon to block the watercolor but that didn’t produce enough stars so I used some watered down acrylic paint over top. You can see the result to the right. I liked the result but I felt like I phoned it in because I was essentially just playing with technique.

Today I took a classic photo of Goza Shioda (upside down and flying) and created a silhouette of one of Tek’s favorite moves using black and dark gray ink. The ink had an interesting effect of not staining the paint so much, and letting the watercolor texture and pattern bleed through. I actually like how it came out, even though it wasn’t planned that way.
So this is actually a two daily creativity? I just built one upon the other, but I like them each separately.
Daily Creativity: Jedi Training by Luke
Heath gave me this idea, that Jedi training by Luke would be done exactly like how he was trained by Yoda. Him riding on the padawan’s back and hitting them with a stick. Blending markers on marker paper. 3/26/2015
