I didn’t create for two days because I felt like poop, but I did last night. This is from last night, using the crayons setting on my iPad in ArtRage I drew Rory Coloring. Drawing this made me really happy. I like especially what he’s coloring, Me, Tek, and him :)

If you were on social media tonight you would have read that everyone’s Grandpa, Leonard Nimoy has passed, as well as Maurice Hurley (a writer from Star Trek). It hit pretty hard because I’m a trekkie, Spock was my friend, Nimoy was the actor. I had known he was getting involved in photography, but didn’t realize he was the photographer behind the Full Body Project, a project that is near and dear to my heart. One of the pictures was an inspiration for my Love Your Body series. So this is in tribute to him, to the effect his character had on me, and everything. I may be using his photos as inspiration for more paintings too. Painting in ArtRage on the iPad. 2/27/2015
Rory is pretty happy to hear that tomorrow marks the begin of the year of the sheep. He thinks it means more mutton will be on the menu.
Welcome to beginning of Lent too as this is the first drawing I’ve done for it, and the soon coming Art Month. Art Month officially begins March 1. Stay tuned as I will be linking to other creations then as I’ve had some people commit to creating daily creativities of their own.

I’ve been taking Aikido lately and was inspired to draw Rory in Kamae, and of course, he’s a green belt. This picture is ink on 9×12 marker paper, I really like using this paper when I use color, it doesn’t absorb the ink like other paper does so it ends up looking more like I originally intended. I find myself wanting more colors in my markers, but at $3 a pop I’m buying them slowly.

Today’s drawing is of Rory and his pal Shelldon, the turtle. I love how Shelldon is just hanging there, he’s pretty adorable. I drew this using the blending markers in ArtRage on my iPad.
