I’ve painted another figure on my iPad, I really like the color palate and how she just jumps out of the page. I like the fiery colors, and her hair. I often have trouble with curly hair but I got her hair really good this time (thanks to painting on the iPad and not with actual paints, I could undo several times.)
Daily Creativity: Skinner Co.
Tonight after Tek and I came home from volunteering and then supper I realized I was able to make it to one of the Mob Hangouts. The Mob hangout is a virtual party for listeners of Flash Pulp, listeners of Flash Pulp are called the Flash Mob, or just simply the Mob. Sometimes we watch movies, other times play games, and then tonight, we goofed off and were silly.
Towards the end I realized I didn’t do my Daily Creativity yet, so I started scribbling. I had wanted to sketch out everyone in the hangout, but I ran out of space and time. So I have JRD, JMay, & Opopanax, they make up Skinner Co.
It’s just a quick sketch, I wanted an impression of the faces so I could move on and get the next person.

Daily Creativity: Not Again
This piece was really meant for Monday, even though I drew it on Tuesday. In honor of Douglas Adam’s birthday. I think one of my favorite running gags is the sperm whale and the bowl of petunias, and who they turn out to be. The whale, wondering if that thing coming towards him (the ground) will be friendly and the petunias thinking “Not Again.”
I drew and painted this on my iPad, I liked being able to mix the painting tools with the pen tools to get a striking effect.
Daily Creativity: Malory Deville
While recording an interview today with The Way of the Buffalo Podcast, Hugh was asking me about my Daily Creativity project. I was telling him about the Tinkerpam drawing I did and it gave Tek a light bulb idea. Malory Archer as Cruella Deville! Much like Tinkerpam, this is a perfect fit. I even tried to give her coat the coloring of Duchess, her beloved dog. I’m really impressed with what I did here, I was afraid I couldn’t draw Malory so well, or if I did, she wouldn’t look Cruella like at all, but I think she looks great. I can see myself drawing all the different characters from Archer as different Disney characters now, the trick is figuring out who is who.
