I did this painting on Friday (March 22nd) but am only able to post it today (March 24th). This has been a busy past few days. Just after putting a 44 page publication to bed CHSR (the campus & community radio station I volunteer at) is in the middle of their annual fundraising drive (FunDrive), and the first few events started. It’s been crazy, but fun, I was hocking hot dogs out in the snow on Friday at passing college students, helping The Clockwork Doctor parade around the Farmer’s Market, and then went to an acoustic show that wasn’t my style until Josh Bravener took the stage and started doing some fun covers, and then I was dancing. Add in two other social parties, recording two live shows, one on air (radio) and one live on youtube, helping clean out the station, baking (for two events), and yes, I have been quite busy.
On to the paining. This is another love your body image, I liked the vague lines I drew with a pen so I just added some watercolor to the background to give it something more. I like how it came out. I like the peaceful look to it. It looks like someone comfortable in their own skin, and isn’t that the goal? The Dream?
