CHSR ran an IndieGoGo Campaign to raise funds for renovations, I offered my service to create pop art as a perk. This is one of the perks I have fulfilled. It’s my cousin, and I think she looks amazing (always), I’m so happy with how this one turned out. I saw the orchids in her picture and went nuts with them. I had a lot of fun drawing her eyes and her hair, it was so much fun.

I painted this up shortly before Easter, my last few weeks of lent have been creative light, I’ve been sick and just unable to concentrate, which sucks. Tek has been wanting me to try my hand at painting Warhammer miniatures, this is my first attempt. He didn’t have any purple so I mixed to make the best I could. I’d like to try again, and even then I think I can go back in and add some more detail here. Still, my first attempt isn’t bad I don’t think. It’s really tiny work, which is a challenge with my eyesight.

Today’s drawing is of Rory and his pal Shelldon, the turtle. I love how Shelldon is just hanging there, he’s pretty adorable. I drew this using the blending markers in ArtRage on my iPad.

This is a bit messy, but I like it messy sometimes. This Love Your Body piece isn’t inspired by one photograph but a collection of them. I created this without the use of of a model. I like how the quick lines and subtle color creates some emotion in this piece.
