Daily Creativity: Elephant Problems

I love drawing elephants, it started as something I drew for my nieces, and then I started drawing them more and more, and I really love them. This one I drew with the idea of an elephant who was disgruntled because they got their trunk in a knot. Elephant problems was done with Pencils on Paper.

Tek and I went up north for an Aikido kenshu (seminar), so we did an extra big purge before heading up. We tossed a bunch of tee shirts, some will be saved for a quilt I’m working on, while the rest will go to the local charities.

Daily Creativity: Elephant Judo

Daily Creativity: Elephant JudoElephant’s practicing Judo? Why not? Tonight’s art was requested by Tek aka UpsideDownandFlying on tumblr. Tek loved the race picture I did and the Ele-family picture so he wanted to see them practicing Judo. We both love watching the heavyweight judo, it really is the most entertaining of the IJF highlight videos. Of course one of the reason I might like the heavyweight matches is because that matches my body type and my type of martial arts. I practice yoshinkan aikido but both aikido and judo have the same root. I really enjoyed drawing this and how it came out, so there may be more of a series of theses in the future.

Daily Creativity: Elephants Running

Elephants Running for the Bronx ZooDaily Creativity: Elephants Running

Elephants running? I was inspired to draw this tonight because a few members of my family are running through The Bronx Zoo to raise money for animals. The animals selected are Elephants because they’re are cool and why not? I wish I could be running this race with my Mom, two sisters, and brother. Not because I love running, but because I love animals and how cool would it be to run a race through the zoo?

I really like how this came out, like the little sweat bands, and how the main elephant is holding a water bottle with her snout. I also really like the faces I made on them, and their little tusks are so cute.
