Only Yesterday I believe is the first Isao Takahata film we have covered, the first no Miyazaki film in this series. Thankfully, it wasn’t one that made us cry from heart ache and death, as is Isao Takahata’s reputation. Ghiblicast is and Introcast where Jen and Jason guide Nutty and Tek through the films of Studio Ghibli for the first time.

Lasagna is just noodle cake, but it is so comforting and delicious. How it’s made can make or break an experience. Most of the time it’s good, sometimes it is amazing, and a few times it is horrible. Listen to Nutty, Tek, Jason, & Jen (of the Talk Nerdy 2 Me Podcast) talk about how to make a good noodle cake, and why it’s so important to us and our culture.

This starts the first in a new series for Nutty Bites based on food. Long time listeners and followers know that food is very important to our hosts. For a while they have wanted to podcast more about food, but how does one fit that into a geek centric podcast? Simple, geek out about food and show how nerdy it can be.

Nutty Bites 135: Tropes!Tropes can be helpful or hurtful. Nutty, Tek, Encaf1, Jason, Jen, and Melissa discuss when to stick by the tropes and when to abandon them and start new. There is a knee jerk desire to say always start with something new, but sometimes you need to respect your fans. We get off topic more than once, and this is a crossover episode with Talk Nerdy 2 Me, so things get fun. I ended up cutting a lot out of this episode and if people want the bloopers maybe I can release them but you have to ask for it.
