Rory the Roman is of course Rory the Dragon’s favourite Doctor Who companion, so I got it into my head to draw Rory as Rory, and me as Amy Pond. I did this using blended marker setting in ArtRage on my iPad.

This Love Your Body piece was inspired by this post on tumblr. I expect to use this base photo again, I just love it so much. Love these ladies dancing in a circle with so much joy. I drew this using the graphic pens in ArtRage on my iPad.

Wishing for Summer – This Love Your Body painting is a self portrait. Last year my sister snapped a photo of me at the beach and I loved it. I’m truly wishing for summer, missing feeling sun on my face so I painted this one in all oranges.

This was done yesterday but I was VERY late on uploading it. A mashup of Winnie the Pooh and Rory,”Even if we’re apart, I’ll always be with you.” Says Christopher Robin (Tek) to Pooh (Rory). I painted this in the watercolor setting in ArtRage on my iPad.
I love the band Bloody Diamonds, and for a while there was a running joke about how any time they came to town, I was out of town. It got so bad the one time I was in town and they were playing I was stuck at the radio station fixing the transmission and missed their show. Finally, I was able to see a show of theirs as a two piece (part of the stripped down tour), and then later with their new bandmates and got to hear the full sound of the band. Both shows were amazing, the second actually felt like I was getting a private show. I only have interaction with Sara & Jake and they are both awesome people IMO.
A few weeks ago I saw a tweet with a great shot of Sara by by Joeri Coppens, I liked the photo so much that I saved it for painting later. I painted it a few days ago on my iPad. I like how bright Sara is in contrast with the dark background.
