I started something when I did my Pop Art for other people. First I did Robin, then Viv asked for me to do her, then the requests rolled in. I’m spacing them out, but you can expect to see more of this :)
I really do love doing this, it’s weird to explain why, I’m not even sure I can say why.
First I draw the subject in flat color, then I add details, put some nifty graphic background, then I make the original image all newsprinty, and overlay it.
Today’s subject is Nobilis Reed, author, podcaster and all around good guy. I can’t wait for my yearly meet up with Mr. Reed at Balticon, and hopefully some book tour stops for our author friends.

I really like these pop art pieces! As I said earlier today, these and your still life pencil sketches are definitely my favourite of the month! Looking forward to seeing more in both of these series (and everything else you’re drawing :) )
