This time, Paul looks at The Rockford Files Season Two Episode Eight “Resurrection in Black and White” where he takes a longer look at the special guest star. He also checks out a comic strip parody character who Rockford mentioned offhand during the episode. Then, The Magician Ep1 “The Manhunters” is where Paul recognizes a guy who owns a restaurant over a Boston bar. Then a look at a fountain in LA that has been dry more time in its life than it has been wet.

First, Paul watches Jim Rockford get stuck in a small town real estate scam, currency and Denny’s restaurants. Then, due to scheduling issues, the last episode of Whiz Kids is actually one from earlier in the season under Bob Shayne, and looking at a surprisingly forward-looking bit of Radio Shack tech, and another, not quite as successful restaurant chain.

This time, Paul watches The Rockford Files Season 2, Episode 4 “Gearjammers Part 2” the concluding episode of the two-parter, noticing that soon the actor he profiles will be on Whiz Kids as well. He notes a pretty obvious continuity error as well. Then he turns to Whiz Kids Episode 16 “Father’s Day” and finds another casting crossover between shows currently being covered.
