The continuing discussion of directors we love that get our buts in movie seats. Normally I don’t do two parters but this was a lot of fun to record, hopefully you enjoy listening. I look forward to the directors you are fascinated by.
Some directors make such compelling work that as soon as you see their name attached to a movie, you’re in. These are the directors we are talking about today. While the AFI and other cultured productions will talk about the artistry and importance to a director, we have chose some that get our buts in movie seats.
We love a good trope and had to dive into the trope of Hackers in media. No they never show it right, no they often miss the point, but hackers have become a staple not just of sci fi but also of the modern procedural. Nutty, Tek, and Vox got together to talk about when it goes right, and when it goes very wrong.
