Paul looks at Season 1 episode 16 of The Rockford Files “Counter Gambit,” looking at what worked about the episode. He also profiles a guest actor with a big future ahead of him, and gives a little detail about a famous prison.
In a slight departure from the Whiz Kids series, Paul looks at the second part of the character crossover event from last time, Simon and Simon Season 3 Episode 5 “Fly the Alibi Skies.” He rolls out a new segment that will be continuing on all the retro shows. He also looks at Jameson Parker, mechanical bulls, and the depiction of air travel.
This time, Paul looks at the third episode of Whiz Kids entitled “Deadly Access.” He’ll make note of many significant performers, including some recently seen in Rockford Files episodes as well as Jameson Parker crossing over as AJ Simon. He’ll look at another piece of tech featured in the show, talk briefly about the show “Simon and Simon,” and highlight a couple things that might be a bit cringe in today’s eyes.
Take a moment to show The Literary Magazine isn’t Dead by backing this Kickstarter for Dirty Magick Magazine. Nutty & Tek sit down with Charlie Brown (Charles D. Brown, or C.D. Brown if you want to be fancy) and discuss the history and trend of literary magazines and zines and why his proposal is so exciting for both readers and writers.
Learn more about the world of Dirty Magick by visiting the website (which has been updated since our recording to include the kickstarter), and pay close attention to the submission guidelines as a clue as to what kind of stories you’ll be seeing. We don’t care what the king is doing.

Creeeeepy tales…. Stranger than fiction these creepy tales are true. Tek and Nutty discuss stories from history that sound like someone’s wild imagination.
