Nutty Bites: One Punch Man! – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2018

One Punch Man is such a fun anime I had to include it with dinner and a movie. I love how the art style changes as the scene gets more serious; I love how Satima is nonchalant; I love the world and the secondary characters; I love how the lamest super power turns out to be the most powerful. I’m also digging the manga. This is one of those shows that is a lot of fun to share with others, I have friends and family who are into it, and that often makes things more interesting. The art I used for today’s episode is art I made of Rory cosplaying as Satima.

Nutty Bites: Ugly Delicious – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2018

Nutty Bites: Ugly Delicious – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2018

Ugly Delicious is a title that might make you think the show is about something else. It’s actually using each episode to take a deep dive into different foods. David Chang and friends explore things like Fried Chicken, Pizza, Tacos, Crawfish, Comfort Food, ect, by going around the world and asking people what these things mean to them. What does food mean to them. As a foodie, I love this show, and it’s especially fun to watch during supper.

Nutty Bites: Red Dwarf – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2018

I love Red Dwarf, and somehow in my multiple recordings, the final recording I didn’t mention how the IntroCast brought some really great friends into my life. I love you guys. Still, I love this show and of course I was pairing it with something Lister eats a lot of. Now where is my London Jets jersey, I need it to practice my favorite song on the guitar. It’s called Ummm.

Nutty Bites: Outlander – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2018

Nutty Bites: Outlander – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2018

Outlander is Kilt Porn, yet I find myself still watching it. It’s like the adult version of a good Holodeck episode of star trek, and it’s no surprise considering the people behind the show. I was drawn by the time travel aspect but stay because of the history and good acting. Still, there are episodes that can just be too much for even me. Totally OK to skip those episodes. All our faves are problematic right?

Nutty Bites: ST Enterprise – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2018

Nutty Bites: ST Enterprise – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2018

Star Trek Enterprise isn’t the best trek series out there, but it also isn’t the worst. I think watching it in binge format makes it better. I was very frustrated when it originally aired and ended up dropping it. This was the first trek series I had ever dropped. Rewatching it now, I see what I missed. Yes, Season 3 really gets interesting, but you have to slog through two seasons of character development/discovery to get to that. I’m not done with the series yet, but I’m really glad that I gave it a second shot.
