TW/CW: cussing, puppet violence, adult discussion of R rated movies and movie making
Many listeners know that Jen and Jason had their own podcast where they had a more adult rating and every year devoted 31 episodes to horror. Sadly the Talk Nerdy 2 Me podcast and other Nerds with Voices podcasts have podfadded. Jen and Jason have been happily geeking out and getting their podcast itch scratched on the Nutty Bites podcast. This episode we flipped the script and Jason is back at it with no restraints, this is not a Nutty Bites Episode, but a Talk Nerdy 2 Me Episode.

Welcome to the Bride of the Killer Pinata, with special guest Stephen Tramontana (director). We loved the original 2015 movie (If you haven’t seen it, check it out on Tubi Killer Pinata, it’s free to watch and Angry Mule gets the best payout, win win) We talk a bit about the original film, the path to the sequel, and the new film which sounds even better. We also discuss how to keep your creative passion alive and pay your rent. How to learn from others, and how to make a good bad movie.
Please do us all a favor, leave a review for the original Killer Pinata on Rotten Tomatoes, get this movie a fresh rating.

The continuing discussion of directors we love that get our buts in movie seats. Normally I don’t do two parters but this was a lot of fun to record, hopefully you enjoy listening. I look forward to the directors you are fascinated by.
Some directors make such compelling work that as soon as you see their name attached to a movie, you’re in. These are the directors we are talking about today. While the AFI and other cultured productions will talk about the artistry and importance to a director, we have chose some that get our buts in movie seats.
