Nutty Bites: Mad Max Fury Road and ADD – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

Nutty Bites: Mad Max Fury Road and ADD – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

Nutty Bites: Mad Max Fury Road and ADD - Dog Days of Podcasting 2017Mad Max Fury Road was a surprise how much I enjoyed that film. I highly recommend you check it out. I’m a bit off topic here, I talk a lot about ADD and the behaviors that might present themselves. I’m sure some people will listen and think “Sure I get like that too.” I’m not sure it is the same though, when it is ADD that is distracting me like this I have so much less control than when it is just mild distraction. What can I said, my brain has it’s own brain. I also talk a bit about water, and how much better passable tap water is than the majority of bottled water. I paired the water with Mad Max for Dinner and a Movie.

Nutty Bites: Master Of None – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

Nutty Bites: Master Of None – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

Nutty Bites: Master Of None – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017Master of None is a fun series with some really important episodes. Be sure to check out Indians on TV, Parents, and NY I Love You. It a a great balance of humor and some real world issues. I paired this with pasta giving my easy sauce recipe and breezed over my pasta recipe since it is more time consuming. I also talk a bit about the eclipse because everyone is right?

Nutty Bites: Sherlock – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

Nutty Bites: Sherlock – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

Nutty Bites: Sherlock – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017Sherlock the tv series produced by the BBC is one of my favorite adaptations. I feel like this is how Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would present this fiction today. Sure, it less and less awesome as each series is released, but still, it’s pretty amazing. I use this show as an excuse to geek out about tea and to lament how I brewed my last pot of Molly’s Christmas Tea by VG Ford.

my very own cakewreckGuardians 2 was such a fun movie it was the perfect follow up to the first film that filled our hearts. The theme of this movie was family, not who shares your blood, but who you grew up with, who you choose as your family. As a person with adopted siblings this movie struck home for me. It got it right that family is who you grew up with, good or bad. I paired this with the birthday cakewreck (carrot) Tek got me for my party.

The Samurai Gourmet is an adorable show for foodies. Which makes it perfect for Bathtub Mermaid Day! Happy Birthday Melissa, I hope you like this show as much as I do. Originally a manga this show follows the adventures of a recent retiree and his imaginary friend the Samurai. Pair this of course with some yakatori and beer!
