It seems like Strong Female Characters are on the rise again. Nuchtchas and Laura Nicole are joined by Tek and Jason to talk about it. First of all, why are we seeing a resurgence of the strong woman? Which characters are the most relevant to our experiences? Thanks to the past popularity of strong female representation, society has changed, as a result those characters of the past don’t hold up to today’s standards. We also talk tropes too, especially what we like seeing in female characters, and what don’t we like seeing in female characters? Who are some of your favorite female characters?

Nutty Bites 105: Women in the Business recorded at Balticon 51Women in the Business is a panel that was held at Balticon 51. The panelists are Nuchtchas, Lisa-Anne Samuels, Veronica Giguere, Kathy MacMillan, and moderated by John Walker. There are few times when I had to edit out personal information and company names, and there is another moment where we are interrupted and that is also edited out. This is one of those behind the scenes style of panels, not about something geek related per say, but many of the speakers are speaking about publishing, media, and broadcasting experience, so it informs the content we watch.
