Yeah yeah yeah, I scanned my favorite from today already, but then I was inspired again, so I had to draw, and had to upload as this was inspired by someone I see most often online.

So I was reading a blog post and there was a link to pictures (which I thought I saw all of them already) and inside that link was a picture of a friend of mine who just seemed to be glowing and I felt the need to sketch it. I know I didn’t even come close to capturing what I saw, but it made me happy drawing her.

Sketched this from my Serenity RPG book tonight. It came out a lot better then I thought, though when I darkened the lines with my 2B pencil I think it lost some of what I liked about it in quick 4H and HB lines.

Have I ever mentioned how the character of Zoe in Firefly/Serenity is my hero? She is amazing and quite possibly what every woman wants to be. Strong, smart, sexy, loyal, family oriented, dedicated and all with a sharp wit.

Here we have an abstract form that my husband likes to call blob people. I have done others similar to this and so this joins the series of blog people. There is something about the form that I like.

So this is something that is in the corner of my living room and while my husband geeked out on MassEffect 2 I was sketching and ended up sketching this, my rockband kit with a plush lobster on it. Yeah, this has been your moment in dorkness for the day

So here is day four. It is interesting, I do more then one sketch per day but I only one gets uploaded because otherwise this would take a lot more time and ruin the creative process. Today my husband choose the sketch

A sketch, penned, and shaded in block. Oddly it is done from my wig head (which had a moulding of my face on the front) and my fedora, but I kinda took a left turn.
