Kiki’s Delivery Service is the second installment of the Intro to Ghibli podcast, a sub segments of Nutty Bites and Talk Nerdy 2 Me. Join us as we talk about this movie and the great voice casting for the disney english release of the film. All Praise Phil Hartman as a Cat!!!

Also pumpkin and herring pie? Really? Is this a thing? Please tell us if you’ve ever eaten this. It sounds gross but who knows?

Intro to Ghibli, a new regular segment of Nutty Bites and the Talk Nerdy 2 Me Podcasts. Jen & Jason guide newbies Nuchtchas & Tek through the movies of Studio Ghibli. We are starting with the Hayao Miyazaki films in order(ish), just bumping My Neighbor Totoro to the first.  Once we finish those we will hit up the Isao Takahata films, then the Ghibli films without either director, then two non Ghibli Miyazaki films, and we also have some bonus shorts to sprinkle throughout.

Fictional Families are everywhere, Nuchtchas, Tek, Tee Morris, & Pip Ballantine talk about their favorites and The Curse of the Silver Pharaoh. From the Adams Family to the Jetsons to the crew of Firefly or Moya, families are what make fiction compelling. Families bring you back for more. You may cry over the ending of the Wonder Years because you are reminded too much of your own family, or run from Malcolm in the Middle because it is all too familiar. In space, in our world, the wizarding world, or protecting America, families keep us hooked into these characters and warm our hearts. Bloopers are fun right? I hope so, these are funny to me at least. I even cut some stuff from this round of bloopers because it went a little too OPSEC. Still, enjoy listening to us, and well Jason can gab can’t he? In this round of bloopers you hear how pigs can be jerks [sic] and how much they love marshmallows. Enjoy! (there was a lot of editing in this one too, so much swearing, I hope I got it all out)
