Paul watches Gravity Falls Season One Episode Nine The Time Traveller’s Pig and discovers the twins can just be cartoons without thought for the consequences of their actions. And that Rachel McAdams is cuter than a cartoon pig. Which he probably should have guessed before now…
The Boy and the Heron is the latest Miyazaki made Ghibli movie, and might just have more of him and his life story than any other movie. Unlike other episodes, this time Tek, Nutty, Jen, and Jason are all newbies as this is a movie currently in theatres.
Ghiblicast is and Introcast where Jen and Jason guide Nutty and Tek through the films of Studio Ghibli for the first time.
You can now support Nutty Bites by donating to the Patreon campaign, through paypal or venmo () or through any other method. Patrons get the private RSS feed where you get shows before the main feed and you get special episodes like Nutty Bites after Dark and special bonus content; a thank you read on the podcast; and your promo or the promo of your choice played on the show (like in this episode).
The final fragment during Dog Days of Advent from Paul Maki set in the worlds of Really Big Things. This time we follow Ivo into a world of purple lightning as he conducts a perilous mission to deliver toys and sweets to the people in a village. As promised, this is the festive fragment for the holiday season.
Paul returns with a surprise, unexpected additional fragment ahead of the holiday one. This follows on from the preceding fragment, just as was always intended. Jeremy found himself cold and alone after Steve unexpectedly manifested teleportation powers. He is taken in by a mysterious woman, who appears to have powers of her own.
This may be the last non-festive fragment you’ll get during Dog Days of Advent, planning and life and writing and such all got the best of me. This follows on not too much longer after the previous fragment, though there is sneaking out to a pub, a doppelganger discovery, and an encounter with an evil mage that we have skipped past to get to this point. I’m hoping you’ve enjoyed these peeks at the story I’ve been meaning to tell, well for quite some time now, let’s say.
