Nuchtchas Tek, The Clockwork Doctor Christiana Ellis Michell Plested

Nuchtchas & Tek were interviewed on The Way of the Buffalo

OctoberlogoresizefinalHugh and Pat from the Way of the Buffalo podcast interviewed Nuchtchas and Tek.  It was a lot of fun for us, but also the first interview with Hugh’s new co-host Pat.  I am really digging the new format, after you listen to this episode, go to his site and listen to the following interviews.  They get some pretty big names and these interviews are fun and feel more like chats.

Short Fiction isn’t dead, it’s just going the way of the buffalo.

New Nutty Bites Promo!

NuttyBitesLogo1400I’ve been meaning to throw together a new promo, but how could I top the last one?  Granted the old promo only reflects what I now refer to as the talky episodes of Nutty Bites, and doesn’t reflect what the show has grown into, a debate platform.  Yes, I use the term debate loosely, but it’s what we do right?  We get geeks to call in and discuss things having to do with speculative fiction and geek life.  Hopefully this promo does it justice.

Nutty Bites 38: Nutty Debate, Favorite Villain

Favorite Villain Nutty Bites 38: Favorite Villain

This debate was recorded a while ago but got pushed back in the editing list.  It’s the first debate I recorded with Google Hangout and was the ultimate test for me to decide to drop skype for debates and move on to google plus for that.  It works much better, lets me schedule calls and has better sound quality.  When dealing with many voices on varying mics, sound quality is important.

Debaters:

Villains:

Seigreid (Get Smart), Mal Renolds? (Firefly), Scorpious (Farscape), Borg & Q (Star Trek), Marquise Isabelle de Merteuil (Dangerous Liaisons), Glenn Close as anyone, Lord of Darkness (Legend) Tim Curry as anything, Spike, (possibly Evo Terra for Spoiling Serenity), The SUN!, The Master (Dr Who), Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes), The Xerial Killer, Hannibal Lector (Silence of the Lambs), Harley Quinn (Batman), George R R Martin and all of his characters, KAHN!, Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Ursula the Sea Witch (The Little Mermaid), Cruella Deville (101 Dalmatians), Queen Narissa (Enchanted), Regina (Once Upon a Time), Bad Horse (Dr Horrible’s Sing along Blog), Kagame (Continuum), Jerry O’Connell as Andrew Clements (My Secret Identity) for destroying the ozone layer, Discord (My Little Pony), John de Lancie playing anyone, This Podcast is the real villain, Norman Bates
