Sense 8 is perhaps the one Netflix series that uses the format of binge watching in it’s story telling medium. Written into four episode acts this series does more for the screen than the traditional delivery method could provide. JMS & the Wakoski siblings knock it out of the park with this series and I can’t wait until season two! Pair this with a salad i now call Salad 8, it’s got 8 “superfoods” in it and I add goat cheese.

I also talk about really cheap food that is good and delicious to help you through times of financial hardship. These meals were my staple when I was unemployed and homeless but not quite on the street, I became a full time house sitter.

Archer makes me want to warn you that we are entering the DAAAANGER ZOOOOOONE!!!! Archer is a fun adult cartoon that can be found on Netflix, but originally airs on FX. On the surface this show looks like a shallow funny comedy with lots of problematic humor. Yet it has a lot of depth to the story but even more the characters. You can’t help but falling in love with these characters and caring a lot about their lives. I paired this with General Tso Chicken, careful you don’t spill it, because THAT’S HOW YOU GET ANTS!!!

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a fun movie and I give you a spoiler free review because I really wanted to talk about the Indian food I had tonight. It’s available on Netflix and stars a fantastic cast including Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Tina Desai, Dev Patel, and more! Tek and I went to our favorite spot and were fed by one of our favorite people. I love family owned places because you feel like you are being fed by family and the food has that home cooked quality that is perfect.

Suicide Squad was so much better than I feared it would be. My love of Harley Quinn was sated while watching this movie and I want to see more Harley Quinn movies. After all Suicide Squad is all about Harley right? Oh and Amanda Waller. I paired this with stuff you can grab from a pick’n’mix.

I backed Con Man on Kickstarter eons ago and only just watched it. It’s all in jokes and geek jokes which is fun but also with some seriously true scenes. I watched it on Vimeo because I backed it, I know it’s available on itunes too. Season2 is supposed to air on ComicCon HQ, that doesn’t make me too happy. I paired it with something I think Hollywoo types like to eat, greek yogurt and granola.
