Live music counts as a show, so this isn’t exactly a Dinner and a Movie episode, but it has the same spirit. This is my plea to you to find the live acts near you, see the smaller shows and the smaller venues. Our big night out was to see the Derina Harvey Band (dHd) and it was a blast!

Free Guy was big when it was in theatres, but I didn’t see it in theatres. I watched it like a proper geek, from my couch on streaming.
I am a big fan of the Guardians Franchise and I really like what has been happening with these features, they know how to bring the fun. This one, while not my favorite of the series, was still a good time.
TMNT is such a big part of my childhood, that’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and when I heard there was a new movie, I was skeptical, but then I saw the art style, and the cast, and I was in. We had to see Mutant Mayhem in the theatre and actually did a mid week theater run. Well worth it!
Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm is a movie that I didn’t know was made till yesterday. It’s just as stupid as you remember the show and I think it is fitting it went directly to streaming, goes with the whole vibe. Welcome to Dog days 2023!
