Welcome to Dog Days Of Advent 2018, MPAT studios presents Round 2 of Mad Movie Mayhem! The boys in the booth over at MPAT studios had so much fun playing Mad Movie Mayhem in August, they’ve decided to do it all over again. The difference for the month of December is these will all be scenes from Christmas movies. A few minor changes this round, if you want to be a participant in this game all you, the listener, need do is private message the Master Piece Audio Theatre’s face book page, to get the most points, be the first to comment naming that movie.

Only Yesterday I believe is the first Isao Takahata film we have covered, the first no Miyazaki film in this series. Thankfully, it wasn’t one that made us cry from heart ache and death, as is Isao Takahata’s reputation. Ghiblicast is and Introcast where Jen and Jason guide Nutty and Tek through the films of Studio Ghibli for the first time.

Lasagna is just noodle cake, but it is so comforting and delicious. How it’s made can make or break an experience. Most of the time it’s good, sometimes it is amazing, and a few times it is horrible. This starts the first in a new series for Nutty Bites based on food. Long time listeners and followers know that food is very important to our hosts. For a while they have wanted to podcast more about food, but how does one fit that into a geek centric podcast? Simple, geek out about food and show how nerdy it can be.

Matt told me and Steph that we HAD to watch Please Like Me, and thankfully he did. This show is important and it made us think about a lot of things. We of course then decided we needed to podcast about it. Warning, this episode has swears, and talks about adult themes, mental health issues, suicide, and other things that are not safe for small ears. This is the first episode of Nutty Bites ever that is marked as explicit. It also goes over 2 hours, so it’s pretty long.
