  1. define “Robot”.
metal skin only? synthetic humanoid? Artificial life-form?

  2. Robots of the Company “Long Live the Company” ;-)
I think Dr Watson form Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century was cool too

  3. How could I forget Robots of the Company? I loved them, yes, totally worth mentioning!

I looked for a link to share, and can’t find one. There has to be an archive out there with this audio drama

  4. Great debate.  Still catching up with the Nutty Bites episodes, so I haven’t heard if these have been mentioned somewhere in a comment.

I will throw into the ring for both cutest and most useful robots, the Drones from “Silent Running”.  These drones repair the ship, tend the forest, perform surgery on our hero, as well as being good company in general.  Plus they are adorable at all times.

And in the end one of the drones is alone to perform all the duties of maintaining the dome.  An eternal guardian, keeping the last of Earth’s trees alive in space. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_Running

  5. Tibbi, great suggestion indeed!

Glad you are going through the back catalog, there is some good stuff there in the debates I must admit, podcasts are great for that.
