Nutty Bites 127: Code Switching
-
the practice of alternating between two or more languages or varieties of language in conversation.“the conversational code-switching of the German-American bilingual community”
Code Switching is a term we learned recently from MTV’s Decoded web series. This is a phenomenon (doo-doo-dee-do-do) that is often expressed by Jason or Tek. Where they float between languages and dialects with different people and situations. We also get down to my ribbing of Jason on some of his pronunciations, in which, I am wrong and he is right. When we learn about something, we want to share it with all of you.
