Daily Creativity: Rory as Captain Canuck, Rawr Canuck?

Captain Canuck is a lesser known superhero, but a fun one. Since I am a resident of Canada I thought it only fitting that I finally paint Rory as the good ‘ol Captain. Who is a total rip of Captain America but totally not, because of course there are differences, but totally a rip. It’s all good, America rips off the rest of the world right? Not many superheroes use tanfas as their main weapon either.

I struggled with coming up with a Rory’fied name for this one. Captain Rawr was for that other captain. So Rawr Canuck? Dragon Canuck? I don’t know. I do know he will win a poutine eating contest, can swallow a bakers dozen of butter tarts in a single swallow, and is friends with all of the cats on Parliament Hill. (Super Canadian humor for the win).
