So today I felt like doing a pop art, this time of my friend known as Gutshot on twitter. He’s awesome and often takes these self portrait photos of himself and posts them often to flickr.
He asked me to stash this one in my files so the next time I felt like doing a pop art, I could do him. I happen to love the shot he chose for this too and think it came out really well. Slightly intimidating, but in a good way.
In case you are wondering (if you’re new to the blog) I have created this style of portrait and have done them for a few folks. I like doing them but wait till the mood strikes me. They are popular among my friends and while I would love to make one for everyone I am trying to avoid turning into a factory and losing the fun of making them, so I wait until I feel like it. If you want to see more click on the tag that reads “pop art“.
Thank you for this – gutshot’s words led to “how to write – the snowflake method”.
*During the process of getting back to here, I found out he enjoys working with paracord.)
Sigh. So much to do and only a few hours before the “real” work week starts.
Take care.
Yes he is an interesting fellow to follow for sure, glad to have opened up your world
