Nutty Bites 118: Alien Covenant or the Critics are WRONG!

Dave joins Nutty and Tek in his first podcast ever* to discuss Alien Covenant and why the critics are wrong. Long time fans of the Alien franchise Nutty and Tek were excited to pick up this movie and give it a go. Unlike many geeks, they also loved Prometheus, so their opinions might not be the same as yours. That said the critics are also wrong about the Netflix series Bright, and a host of other movies. So give it a listen and even if you hated the movie, hopefully you will enjoy their analysis.

*Nah we forgot he was on before, Dog Days and Ice Bucket Challenge, dang we suck and this memory thing, must be getting old or something.

Howl’s Moving Castle is like if Terry Gilliam directed a Ghibli movie and it starred David Bowie. We loved this film in all of it’s surreal nature and appreciated its art movieness. This for Tek and Nutty succeeded where Princess Mononoke failed.

Spirited Away was in theatres this month, Nuchtchas and Tek took the advantage of being able to see this film for the first time on the big screen. Jason’s favorite Ghibli movie did not disappoint. Also, it has an actual ending!!!! Plus we are talking about cosplay opportunities. Next up is Howl’s Moving Castle.
