We sat down across three countries, and two continents, and watched it together and recorded a commentary. We also added a review at the end. Nutty Bites 139: They Shall Not Grow OldThey Shall Not Grow Old is a documentary by Peter Jackson about the first world war. Using hundreds of hours of footage from the Imperial Archives they improved the film, restore it, adjusted the frame rate, added realistic color, and added sound of both folly and voices. All added speech was done with the help of forensic lip readers so they could be sure that what was said was accurate.

This is only available in theaters for two days, December 17 when we saw it, and December 27, so get your tickets now and go! Add this movie to your oscar pool, it is sure to win some technical and the best documentary award.

This starts the first in a new series for Nutty Bites based on food. Long time listeners and followers know that food is very important to our hosts. For a while they have wanted to podcast more about food, but how does one fit that into a geek centric podcast? Simple, geek out about food and show how nerdy it can be.
