Nutty Bites: Freaks and Geeks – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

Freaks and Geeks was a great short lived show. I missed it while it was on and I don’t think it got the backing that it should have while it was on the air. The talent on that show is astounding, between the writing, directing, and the acting. It makes me scream that we didn’t even get a full season, but I’m so happy we got what we did. I paired this with the plate licking good salmon I made for lunch. (recorded earlier in the week.)

Nutty Bites: GLOW (The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

I missed GLOW (The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) back in the 80s, but I didn’t miss this Netflix series or the documentary that inspired it, also available on Netflix. This is a two for one episode. The show has a more feminist spin than the reality of the situation but I think that makes for better viewing today. I paired this with meat on a stick, because that way you can cheer and eat at the same time.

Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet at first looked like something I wouldn’t be into, but once I saw it was zombie related I check it out. Another example of breaking suburbia this show will give you lots of funny scenes and silly gore scenes that is absurd enough to keep you coming back. Nutty Bites: What We Do In The Shadows – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

What We Do In The Shadows is one of the best mocumentaries you will ever see. Granted I have a special place in my heart for mocumentaries, but this one just blows me away. I can watch it over and over again and it never gets old. I paired this with a virgin sandwich, because when you eat a sandwich, you’d prefer that no one had F***ed it.

Nutty Bites: Keeping Up With the Joneses – Dinner and a Movie – Dog Days of Podcasting 2017

Keeping up with the Joneses was a surprise to me. I didn’t think I was going to like this movie but it was pretty fun to watch. I love the trope of breaking suburbia, which I tried to look up on tv tropes, but couldn’t find one, yet I know this is a thing, because I love watching things with this trope. I paired this with sushi because while I would totally try eating snake, I don’t see myself making a habit of it. Spoiler, there is a snake restaurant they go to.
