I love this picture, and the subject. When my sister asked me to create pop art of her using this photo I was so happy. The picture is from a trip she made up to Canada to see where I live. We had a lot of fun and there is something about grabbing a photo of her in full laugh/smile that I just love. Of course I had to make the main colors purple, as I love green she loves purple.

Ask for the doc, that goes tik-tok! It’s the Clockwork Doctor! This is Tek’s steampunk costume, I drew it up and added a little whimsy to it, for instance he’s smiling :) You can see this character this may at Baltcon :)

More puffy superheros

So yesterday I drew this, and I thought it was really cute, so I had to make it in vector, and it’s still really cute but I think I like the colored pencil version better. Tell me what you think?

In addition to the BatPuffs I made some of the other Justice League members. They’re pretty darned cute I think.

I got this idea in my head, and then I fell in love with it as I drew it. I want to go back and make this into some vector art, my husband is even asking me for more superheros in this style, I really think I will :)

Nutty Bites Bonus Episode – Nutty Fiction: Siva (FIXED)

And now we have the bonus episode I promised you. This is a story I wrote at the end of NaNoWriMo after I finished my book. It’s the first time I have created and produced podcast fiction from start to finish, so I hope you like it.

EDIT: I originally uploaded this at the beginning of the month but without the luxury of beta listeners I missed how there were some big errors, like sound being dropped, me not crediting one of my main actors and some other things. Sadly when you listen to something over and over again, it’s easy to miss some glaringly obvious errors. I improved it somewhat but there were some things I couldn’t fix without rerecording the whole thing, so I apologize ahead of time for getting edit happy. In the future I will try and be more natural. I’m still new at this, so there will be some growing pains.
