Daily Creativity: Worthy

This piece was inspired by someone’s tattoo. I love the idea of tattooing something like worthy on yourself. Each of us are worthy and in today’s world sometimes it takes remembering that to be able to survive. The world is negative and surrounded with ads on how to fix flaws these same ad companies have made up, just to sell your their product. If we could each remember our worth I think the world would be a better place.

Originally I was going to paint a tea cup using tea as my medium, it was a stunning failure. The tea aged the paper but I couldn’t build up any layers so it was pretty sad. Perhaps I can get it to work with coffee someday, who knows.
