In this episode I made Trader’s Stew, as featured by Paulette Jaxton in the Empress Sword<\/a>. I had it at the book’s launch party and a few other times she made it, I love it so much, mostly because it has a curry flavor and Brussels sprouts. I have had the recipe for years but never got around to making it, I think I was too intimidated. This test kitchen project finally inspired me to try it, and considering this year I have been all about soup, it’s been a perfect match. I loved making this and I think I will use parts of this in my every day soup making from now on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
