Coordination! and Carpooling! And Room Sharing! June 2, 2008
There are a lot of out of town guests that will be coming to this wedding. Please use this as a starting point to get together with others if you need to share a room (since some of you already know each other) or to carpool or share a rental car, again, many of you know each other.
We have folks from the west coast, the east coast, the south and all parts of Canada so please talk here!
What started this? Well our friend Dave was asking how much it costs to bus it from Pet to NYC (Since Fred used to make the trip all the time) I told him just over 200 for the bus, but if he hooks up with someone else coming from Pet or the area then they could carpool and save money (it takes 3-4 gas tanks from Pet to NYC and back again) so for two people it makes sense to drive it.
Please use the comments to say where you are coming from if you are looking for some ideas
Well, provided I am able to make it, I’m coming from the Ottawa area. However, I don’t drive, but I would be willing to contribute gas money.
We’d be coming from North Bay IF we’re able to make it, but my parents are in the HuntClub/Riverside area of Ottawa so meeting up wouldn’t be that much of an issue. We have to drive to Pembroke first though to drop off 2 of my children, and still find a place for a third..haha…so Dave could come with us too Re?
