been planning to participate anyways, but then heard they were looking for donations for prizes to hand out to the participants.\u00a0 I went to our local toy store, bought a NERF Raider, dusted off data-image-title=\"Colours added\" data-image-description=\"&lt;p&gt;Working slowly and mixing some old acrylic paints I had I dry brushed the gun first in gunmetal grey and then with the brass.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;For those unfamiliar with dry brushing, I used an old 2&amp;#8243; wide paint brush, dipped it in the paint, and then rubbed almost all the paint off the bristles, until they are almost dry to the touch (see where it gets its name?)  Then, working in quick, light strokes, the paint only adheres to the higher sections, and naturally shades your surface, giving you an incredibly real looking painted surface, very
