Tonight I lay next to my husband as he slept and sketched him, then I painted it. I just loved how he looked laying there. The green of his clothes mixing with the green sheets, pillow cases and duvet gave the tableau a very soft feel, it's what pulled me to pick up a pencil. I chose watercolor to make the painting as soft as I could.
