The Aristocats is one of my favorite Disney movies that really holds up well over time. It’s something you will fall in love with and be able to watch over and over. I paired this with  Coquilles St.-Jacques because that is one of my favorite french dishes.

Nutty Bites – Supernatural & Pie -Dog Days of Podcasting

Nutty Bites Dog Days of Podcasting Dinner & a movie SupernaturalSupernatural & Pie – Spoiler Free!

Supernatural is I think the first real success of the CW, and they won’t ever stop that cash cow. The first five seasons I think are quite good and worth watching. Everything else is fan fiction, but fun fan fiction. Its available to watch on Netflix so that makes it better, but sadly not all of Netflix has the original music, you need the DVDs for that. I paired this with Pie, Dean’s favorite. Also, be sure to check out the Idjitcast podcast on Quadruplez for a fun and balanced introcast for Supernatural.

Nutty Bites – Orphan Black & Game Meat – Dog Days of Podcasting

Nutty Bites Dog Days of Podcasting Dinner & a movie Orphan BlackOrphan Black & Game Meat – Spoiler Free!

Orphan Black is one of the few shows I will review that isn’t available on my Netflix. That should tell you how much I love the show, enough that I leave Netflix to find it. I love this show and the fact that I keep forgetting it’s the same actress. Be sure to check out the Clone Dance Party podcast for episode by episode reviews for the show. I pair this with something Helena would approve of, game meat. Some Venison ribs with honey roasted rabbit.

Nutty Bites – The Real Miyagi & Pizza – Dog Days of Podcasting

Nutty Bites Dog Days of Podcasting Dinner & a movie The Real Miyagi & PizzaThe Real Miyagi & Pizza – Spoiler Free!

The Real Miyagi is a documentary on Netflix about Sensei Fumio Demura, the man who influenced the role Pat Morita is best known in The Karate Kid. Unlike many other documentaries about martial arts teachers this one is fascinating, endearing, and entertaining. You will fall in love with Sensei Demura. I pair this with his Favorite food, Pizza, but my kind of Pizza. A classic NY style slice.

I also talk a little but about the idea of being an introvert and an extrovert. I think there is more than those choices and I think a lot of people who think they are introverts are actually something else. I’m not an introvert, I’m very shy, with some social anxieties from time to time. I love social interaction, I just fear making it happen.

Nutty Bites – Voltron & London Broil – Dog Days of Podcasting

Nutty Bites Dog Days of Podcasting Dinner & a movie Sense 8Voltron & London Broil – Spoiler Free!

The Voltron revival on Netflix is a bit of nostalgia done really well. They took what worked for the old show and made it accessible to the audience of today, both child and taller child alike. As soon as I turned off the mic I realized I completely forgot to mention one of my favorite bits about this show, the mice!!! The Mice are so cool and I just love them. I paired this with a staple meal of my youth, London Broil, broccoli, and potatoes. Second generation Irish, of course we like potatoes.

I also talk about really cheap food that is good and delicious to help you through times of financial hardship. These meals were my staple when I was unemployed and homeless but not quite on the street, I became a full time house sitter.
